Sarah Young is an artist specializing in drawing and painting. Born in Toronto, she makes paintings primarily interested in exploring the themes of memory, identity, and theology with archival imagery. Creating sensitive aesthetic experiences through painting, the artist works with a range of visual languages and draws inspiration from lived experiences and contemporary culture. Having earned a BFA from OCAD University, Sarah is now working on completing her MFA at NSCAD University while furthering research and teaching.
